The Egyptian Papers
The Egyptian Papers project collects and presents digitized Reformed and Ancient Egyptian characters from documents produced during Joseph Smith’s lifetime. It organizes the material into formats intended to make the characters easier to explore and study.
About the collection
The original project describes 61 known pages of Reformed and Ancient Egyptian content, excluding the Book of Abraham manuscripts. Its collection includes material from the Grammar and Alphabet of the Egyptian Language and related documents. The project page reported that its initial character digitization was about 70% complete when that description was written.
This is a personal hobby project, not a peer-reviewed or academically authoritative resource. It is not affiliated with the Joseph Smith Papers project or The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
